Benefits

  • Exhibits Article VIII Section 24: Short Work Week paid for Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays
  • Exhibits G, Appendix F: Add coverage for Registered Dietitians

Health & Safety

  • Subsection 15.8: Allow members the opportunity to purchase Safety Shoes at any supplier, and the Company will reimburse up to the allowance per the Contract. REASON: 2023 increase of the Safety shoe allowance, Mr. Safety Shoes increased the prices of the shoes which offset our gain. This should not be allowed; prices should be locked in for the life of the contract or allow members to use any supplier.

Holiday Pay

  • Subsection 12.1: When a Holiday defined in section (12.1) occurs in a week during the Plants scheduled Vacation shutdown, the Company/Plant will endeavor to keep employees on the active roll throughout the duration of the scheduled shutdown period. The intent of this agreement is to provide employees with the opportunity to work during this period, without offering additional benefits beyond what is stipulated in the Collective agreement.

Job Security

  • Subsection 17.10: All Outsourcing Notifications must be in WRITING from the Company. Example: Door panels and Super consoles, no written notice given, only conversation at meeting held Oct. 11, 2023.

Special Provisions, Windsor

  • Subsection 7.3: If an Operation/Job is eliminated by the Company, and the job is reinstated by the Company within 30 days, the member has the right to go back to the operation/job. Also, the 30 days does not include any Plant shutdowns Vacation/layoffs/retooling.
